Joost Luiten showed tremendous depth of character to capture his fourth European Tour title and deny ISM stablemate Tommy Fleetwood a chance of glory at ISPS Handa Wales Open.
Needing a par at the long last for victory, Joost carved his tee shot into the cabbage and then had to two-putt from almost a cricket pitch to stop the express train from Southport.
Tommy finished an incredible six under for the last five holes to set the target which eventually fell just one short as the Dutchman kept his nerve.
Joost is now firmly entrenched in the world's top 50 and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he isn't in the top 20 by the end of the season - he's that good... and so is Tommy.
We have plenty of others also constantly looking up so the future for us is very bright and in Dutchman Joost's case, definitely orange.
France's Romain Wattel continued his very impressive streak with yet another top ten in Wales - a feat matched by the rapidly emerging Byeong-Hun An and Matt Fitzpatrick at the Kazakhstan Open.
And American Scott Pinckney gave us something to crow about on the other side of the Atlantic when he claimed his PGA Tour card.
Lee Westwood carries our colours at the Ryder Cup this week and we wish him and Europe a successful defence of the trophy at Gleneagles.
